Founder & Former CEO of the North Georgia Elder Abuse Task Force Foundation
Joe Gavalis was more than a founder; he was the heart behind our mission of community advocacy. As a former federal agent and tireless advocate for Georgia’s seniors, Joe dedicated his life to protecting the most vulnerable from elder abuse through justice, education, and unwavering compassion.
His leadership laid the foundation for this Georgia nonprofit organization, bringing together board members from law enforcement, legal professionals, and social service advocates to work as a unified Task Force. Joe’s vision continues to guide our work every day, and his legacy lives on in every case we assist, every senior we protect, and every voice we empower.
We proudly dedicate our ongoing efforts to his memory.
